On December 13 the San Diego Chargers went up against their rivals the Kansas City Chiefs. This was a low scoring game. Both of these teams are in the AFC West division, but the Chiefs have a better record than the Chargers. The Chargers' record is 3-9 and the Chiefs' record is 7-5. The Chiefs are second place in the division and the Chargers are last place. Although the Chiefs are not top in their division, they are top in the Wild Card. The Chiefs are the second team in NFL history to win 7 games in a row immediately after losing 5 in a row.
In the first quarter of the game the game was scoreless. By the end of the second quarter, the score was 10-0 Kansas City leading the Chargers. In the third quarter, the Chargers scored once, but it was not enough because they only scored a field goal (3 points). In the beginning of the final quarter, the Chiefs had the ball. Their drive only lasted 6 plays and 21 yards, but wasting 4 minutes and 46 seconds. San Diego needed a big drive to get a touchdown. With one nice catch by Ladarius Green (tight end) from Philip Rivers (quarterback) they gained 22 yards, but with two incomplete passes and one sack the Chargers were forced to punt the ball back to the Chiefs.
With about 9 minutes left in the game, the Chiefs were trying to put this game away and continue their winning streak, but that didn't happen. They did waste 4 minutes and 15 seconds though. Their drive consisted of 7 plays and 24 yards. The Chiefs punted the ball to the Chargers leaving them at the 11 yard line. The Chargers had to go 89 yards in 5 minutes to tie or win the game. One amazing pass by Philip Rivers to Malcom Floyd gained the Chargers 41 yards. The Chargers were inching there way up the field with three or four yards a play each time until it was fourth down and little time left one the clock. The Chargers were at the 23 yard line and Philip Rivers completed a pass to Tyvon Branch to allow the Chargers to get to the 1 yard line. Five seconds left and the Chargers had no timeouts remaning. This is where the Chargers started to mess up. First a penalty on the Chiefs for five yards, but didn't matter because the Chargers were already on the one yard line. Then a penalty on the Chargers costing them five yards. Next an incomplete pass in the endzone, another penalty costing the Chargers five more yards, and for the last play of the game... an incomplete pass! This made the Chiefs' record 8-5 and the Chargers' 3-10.

NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets
On Saturday, November 28 the Brooklyn Nets played against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nets have all of the odds stacked against them, but they will try their hardest to win this game. The Cavaliers, or "Cavs" for short, have what most people think to be the best lineup in the NBA today. Their starting lineup includes: Mo Williams (point guard), J.R. Smith (shooting guard), LeBron James (small forward), Kevin Love (power forward) and Timofey Mozgov (center). Kyrie Irving would be starting point guard, but he is injured. The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand, don't have as good a lineup: Jarret Jack (point guard), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (shooting guard), Joe Johnson (small forward), Thaddeus Yound (power forward), and Brook Lopez (center).
In the first quarter the Nets suprised many fans and outscored the Cavs 24-17. At the end of the second quarter, the Nets suprised again and scored 26 points, and the Cavs only scored 27. It was a close game still, the score was 50-44 the Nets leading. In the third quarter, the Nets scored 18 points and the Cavs scored 25. The score was now 69-68 in the Cavs' favor. In the fourth quarter, the Nets scored 20 and the Cavs scored 21 points. Two of those points were the points that won the game for the Cavs. With five seconds left, the game was tied and LeBron James had the ball- the one person the Nets didn't want to have the ball. LeBron James dribbled through two of the Nets' players and scored a hook shot over their center. The Cavs won this game and that put their record at 13 wins and 4 losses. With the loss for the Nets, their record was now 3 wins and 13 losses.

NBA: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors
On Thursday, November 19, 2015 the undefeated Golden State Warriors were heading into a potential "Game Of The Season." They were playing the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are doing good, but they could be better. The Warriors on the other hand, the best team in the league: undefeated, NBA champions, and MVP Stephen Curry. The odds were on the Warriors side. Stephen Curry having one of the best starts to a season in NBA history. The only player that did as good was Michael Jordan in 1995-1996. Also the Warriors are one of few NBA teams that have been undefeated so far in NBA history. The Clippers had the odds stacked against them, especially when their sharp-shooter, J.J. Redick, is out for the game and star point guard, Chris Paul, is playing his first game after being out for a week.
In the first quarter, the Clippers did great. Chris Paul had 18 points! The Clippers were leading the Warriors 41-25. If only the Clippers could keep this up. In the second quarter the Warriors outscored the Clippers 29-27. The score now being 68-54, Clippers leading. In the third quarter, Golden State outscored L.A. again, 31-23. There was still hope for the Warriors. The score was now 91-77. Now the fourth quarter was something else. The Clippers' defense just broke down in the final quarter. MVP Stephn Curry led the Warriors to outscore the Clippers 39-26. The final score was 124-117, the Warriors won. The still undefeated Warriors, beat the Bulls the next day, and then the Nuggets fell to the Warriors too. The Warriors are now 15-0 (15 wins and 0 losses).

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs Brooklyn Nets
On November 14, 2015, the undefeated, defending champions Golden State Warriors went up against the Brooklyn Nets. The Warriors have won 10 straight games going into this match. The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand aren't doing so good. The Nets were 1-8 going into this game. Their star point guard, Deron Williams, signed with a different team, Dallas Mavericks, in the off-season. Veteran Kevin Garnett also left the Nets to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nets lost their star players and everyone knew they were going to get blown out by the Warriors, but it didn't go that way.
At the end of the first quarter the Nets were beating the Warriors 36-21! Then the Warriors came back in the second quarter scoring 31 points and the Nets only scoring 18. The Nets were still winning 54-52. In the third quarter the Nets outscored the Warriors 23-18 leaving the score now to be the Nets in the lead, 77-70. The final quarter, the Warriors outscored the Nets, 27-20. This made the score... TIED! The score was 97-97!
Going into overtime all the Warrior fans were nervous about the Warriors losing their undefeated streak. For the first time this season, they felt nervous about their team losing. On the other hand, the Nets' fans were hoping for their second win. The Nets were nervous, though. They only scored 2 points and the Warriors scored 10. The Warriors won, but the Nets weren't upset. They knew they would lose, they just went out there and gave it their all.
Time for some stats. Star point guard, reigning MVP, Stephen Curry tallied up 34 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. The Warriors were missing star shooting guard, Klay Thompson, due to a back injury. He usually back up Steph Curry, but he wasn't there so everyone had to step up. Andre Igoudala scored 15, Draymond Green scored 16, and Harrison Barnes scored 13.
The Nets' leading scorer was Jarret Jack with 28 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds. Only two other people stepped up in that game, Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez. Thaddeus Young scored 26, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Brook Lopez tallied up 18 points, 3 blocks, and 9 assists.

NFL Week 5
Week 5 of the NFL had a few good games. One of them being Atlanta Falcons versus the Washington Redskins. This game went into overtime. With Matt Ryan, the quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons and leading passer in the NFL, the Falcons won. Matt Ryan had an average game with 254 yards. He didn't have any touchdowns and he threw two interceptions, but that didn't matter with how Devonta Freeman played. He is leading the NFL in rushing yards, although he is injured. Devonta Freeman had 27 carries, 153 yards, and one touchdown. Kirk Cousins, the quarterback of the Washington Redskins, also had an average game with 219 yards, one touchdown, but three interceptions. The Redskins' rushing game wasn't good either. The next game would be the Denver Broncos going up against the Cleveland Browns. The Denver Broncos have a record of 5-0 after this win. They lead the AFC East division. The Cleveland Browns would be 1-4 with this loss. It was obvious who would win this game. but somehow the Cleveland Browns forced the game into overtime. Peyton Manning, star quarterback of the Denver Broncos, threw for 290 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. Josh McCown, quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, threw for 213 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. NFL Week 3
Last week of the NFL only had a few good games. Most of the games played were games that didn't even come close to having close to the same score as the other team. For example, when the New England Patriots played against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Patriots scored 51 points and the Jaguars only scored 17. The New England Patriots did win the Super Bowl last year, but the Jaguars could have done better. With an amazing game for Tom Brady, New England quarterback, he had 358 yards with two touchdowns. Even though Blake Bortles, Jacksonville quarterback, had a great game to, it wasn't enough to beat the Patriots. Rob Gronkowski, star tight end for the Patriots, had an amazing game, as always, with 4/7 catches caught along with 101 total yards. The New Englad Patriots also beat the Jaguars in passing yards, running yards, and total yards. The New England Patriots' record is now three wins with no losses, still leading the AFC East division. The Jacksonville Jaguars' record is now one win and two losses.
The next game was the Arizona Cardinals going up against the San Francisco 49ers. This game was not a close game either. The Arizona Cardinals eventually won 47-7. With a good game by Carson Palmer, Arizona quarterback, with 311 total yards, two touchdowns, but one interception. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco quarterback, didn't have much of a good game. He totaled only 67 passing yards, no touchdowns, and four interceptions. The running game wasn't exactly close either, Chris Johnson of the Cardinals, one the fastest half backs in the NFL, had a great game with 22 carries, 110 yards, and two touchdowns. Carlos Hyde of the 49ers, didn't have a good game. Totaling only 51 yards, 15 carries, and no touchdowns either. The only touchdown scored by the 49ers was from Colin Kaepernick, he ran it in the end zone for 12 yards. After this loss, the San Francisco 49ers are tied for last place of the NFC West division. The Arziona Cardinals are now first place in the NFC West division.

Week 2 of the NFL
Week 2 of the NFL had some really good match ups. For example, on Sunday, September 20, there were fourteen games. Two of the games were the San Francisco 49ers playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks playing against the Green Bay Packers. When the San Francisco 49ers went up against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was not a close game by far. The Steelers beat the 49ers 43-18. Even though Colin Kaepernick (the San Francisco 49ers' quarterback) had an good game with 335 yards in total, two touchdowns, and thirty-three completed passes out of forty-six thrown passes, Ben Roethlisberger (the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback) had a better game with 369 yards in total, three touchdowns, and twenty-one completed passes out of twenty-seven thrown passes. Eleven of the passes Ben Roethlisberger threw were to star wide receiver Antonio Brown.
The game of the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers was a very even game. The Green Bay Packers eventually won the game 27-17. Both of the quarterbacks, Russel Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, didn't have their best game. Russel Wilson ended the game with 206 total yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Aaron Rodgers ended the gane with more yards totaled at 249, two touchdowns, with no interceptions. Marshawn Lynch, the halfback of the Seattle Seahawks, didn't have a great game either. He had fifteen carries, but with only forty-one total yards. James Stark, the halfback of the Green Bay Packers, had a better game. He had twenty carries, ninety-five yards, but one fumble. Week 2 of the NFL was interesting along with a lot of close games.

Week 1 of the NFL
Week 1 of the NFL was very exciting. There were many close games. For example, the game of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants came down to the last seconds. The New York Giants were winning 23-20 in the fourth quarter. After the Giants made a field goal with 1:34 seconds left in the fourth quarter the Giants were now winning 26-20. With only 1:34 left on the clock, QB Tony Romo and the Cowboys had to go down the field with no timeouts. With a sensational drive down the field the Cowboys had scored a game- winning touchdown from QB Tony Romo to TE Jason Witten with only seven seconds left on the clock. The Dallas Cowboys won that game 27-26. Another close game was the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Luis Rams. With 4:39 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Seattle Seahawks were winning the game 31-24. It was time for the St. Luis Rams to drive down the field to try to score a touchdown. They did score a touchdown with 53 seconds left in the game. The score was now tied 31-31. The Seahawks failed to score with the rest of the time they had so the game went into overtime. The Rams then drove down the field and from 37 yards out, Greg Zuerlein, their kicker, made a field goal and won them the game. Those were just some of the games that were in Week 1 of the NFL.
