Week 2 of the NFL

Week 2 of the NFL had some really good match ups. For example, on Sunday, September 20, there were fourteen games. Two of the games were the San Francisco 49ers playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks playing against the Green Bay Packers. When the San Francisco 49ers went up against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was not a close game by far. The Steelers beat the 49ers 43-18. Even though Colin Kaepernick (the San Francisco 49ers' quarterback) had an good game with 335 yards in total, two touchdowns, and thirty-three completed passes out of forty-six thrown passes, Ben Roethlisberger (the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback) had a better game with 369 yards in total, three touchdowns, and twenty-one completed passes out of twenty-seven thrown passes. Eleven of the passes Ben Roethlisberger threw were to star wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The game of the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers was a very even game. The Green Bay Packers eventually won the game 27-17. Both of the quarterbacks, Russel Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, didn't have their best game. Russel Wilson ended the game with 206 total yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Aaron Rodgers ended the gane with more yards totaled at 249, two touchdowns, with no interceptions. Marshawn Lynch, the halfback of the Seattle Seahawks, didn't have a great game either. He had fifteen carries, but with only forty-one total yards. James Stark, the halfback of the Green Bay Packers, had a better game. He had twenty carries, ninety-five yards, but one fumble. Week 2 of the NFL was interesting along with a lot of close games.

Week 1 of the NFL

Week 1 of the NFL was very exciting. There were many close games. For example, the game of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants came down to the last seconds. The New York Giants were winning 23-20 in the fourth quarter. After the Giants made a field goal with 1:34 seconds left in the fourth quarter the Giants were now winning 26-20. With only 1:34 left on the clock, QB Tony Romo and the Cowboys had to go down the field with no timeouts. With a sensational drive down the field the Cowboys had scored a game- winning touchdown from QB Tony Romo to TE Jason Witten with only seven seconds left on the clock. The Dallas Cowboys won that game 27-26. Another close game was the Seattle Seahawks and the St. Luis Rams. With 4:39 seconds left in the fourth quarter, the Seattle Seahawks were winning the game 31-24. It was time for the St. Luis Rams to drive down the field to try to score a touchdown. They did score a touchdown with 53 seconds left in the game. The score was now tied 31-31. The Seahawks failed to score with the rest of the time they had so the game went into overtime. The Rams then drove down the field and from 37 yards out, Greg Zuerlein, their kicker, made a field goal and won them the game. Those were just some of the games that were in Week 1 of the NFL.
