On Saturday, November 28 the Brooklyn Nets played against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nets have all of the odds stacked against them, but they will try their hardest to win this game. The Cavaliers, or "Cavs" for short, have what most people think to be the best lineup in the NBA today. Their starting lineup includes: Mo Williams (point guard), J.R. Smith (shooting guard), LeBron James (small forward), Kevin Love (power forward) and Timofey Mozgov (center). Kyrie Irving would be starting point guard, but he is injured. The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand, don't have as good a lineup: Jarret Jack (point guard), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (shooting guard), Joe Johnson (small forward), Thaddeus Yound (power forward), and Brook Lopez (center).
In the first quarter the Nets suprised many fans and outscored the Cavs 24-17. At the end of the second quarter, the Nets suprised again and scored 26 points, and the Cavs only scored 27. It was a close game still, the score was 50-44 the Nets leading. In the third quarter, the Nets scored 18 points and the Cavs scored 25. The score was now 69-68 in the Cavs' favor. In the fourth quarter, the Nets scored 20 and the Cavs scored 21 points. Two of those points were the points that won the game for the Cavs. With five seconds left, the game was tied and LeBron James had the ball- the one person the Nets didn't want to have the ball. LeBron James dribbled through two of the Nets' players and scored a hook shot over their center. The Cavs won this game and that put their record at 13 wins and 4 losses. With the loss for the Nets, their record was now 3 wins and 13 losses.

NBA: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors
On Thursday, November 19, 2015 the undefeated Golden State Warriors were heading into a potential "Game Of The Season." They were playing the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are doing good, but they could be better. The Warriors on the other hand, the best team in the league: undefeated, NBA champions, and MVP Stephen Curry. The odds were on the Warriors side. Stephen Curry having one of the best starts to a season in NBA history. The only player that did as good was Michael Jordan in 1995-1996. Also the Warriors are one of few NBA teams that have been undefeated so far in NBA history. The Clippers had the odds stacked against them, especially when their sharp-shooter, J.J. Redick, is out for the game and star point guard, Chris Paul, is playing his first game after being out for a week.
In the first quarter, the Clippers did great. Chris Paul had 18 points! The Clippers were leading the Warriors 41-25. If only the Clippers could keep this up. In the second quarter the Warriors outscored the Clippers 29-27. The score now being 68-54, Clippers leading. In the third quarter, Golden State outscored L.A. again, 31-23. There was still hope for the Warriors. The score was now 91-77. Now the fourth quarter was something else. The Clippers' defense just broke down in the final quarter. MVP Stephn Curry led the Warriors to outscore the Clippers 39-26. The final score was 124-117, the Warriors won. The still undefeated Warriors, beat the Bulls the next day, and then the Nuggets fell to the Warriors too. The Warriors are now 15-0 (15 wins and 0 losses).

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs Brooklyn Nets
On November 14, 2015, the undefeated, defending champions Golden State Warriors went up against the Brooklyn Nets. The Warriors have won 10 straight games going into this match. The Brooklyn Nets on the other hand aren't doing so good. The Nets were 1-8 going into this game. Their star point guard, Deron Williams, signed with a different team, Dallas Mavericks, in the off-season. Veteran Kevin Garnett also left the Nets to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nets lost their star players and everyone knew they were going to get blown out by the Warriors, but it didn't go that way.
At the end of the first quarter the Nets were beating the Warriors 36-21! Then the Warriors came back in the second quarter scoring 31 points and the Nets only scoring 18. The Nets were still winning 54-52. In the third quarter the Nets outscored the Warriors 23-18 leaving the score now to be the Nets in the lead, 77-70. The final quarter, the Warriors outscored the Nets, 27-20. This made the score... TIED! The score was 97-97!
Going into overtime all the Warrior fans were nervous about the Warriors losing their undefeated streak. For the first time this season, they felt nervous about their team losing. On the other hand, the Nets' fans were hoping for their second win. The Nets were nervous, though. They only scored 2 points and the Warriors scored 10. The Warriors won, but the Nets weren't upset. They knew they would lose, they just went out there and gave it their all.
Time for some stats. Star point guard, reigning MVP, Stephen Curry tallied up 34 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds. The Warriors were missing star shooting guard, Klay Thompson, due to a back injury. He usually back up Steph Curry, but he wasn't there so everyone had to step up. Andre Igoudala scored 15, Draymond Green scored 16, and Harrison Barnes scored 13.
The Nets' leading scorer was Jarret Jack with 28 points, 9 assists, and 4 rebounds. Only two other people stepped up in that game, Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez. Thaddeus Young scored 26, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Brook Lopez tallied up 18 points, 3 blocks, and 9 assists.
