Stephen Curry is one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. He is a point guard who wears the number 30 and is the face of the Golden State Warriors. In his last couple of years, Curry had dominated the NBA. He led his team to win the NBA Championship last year. This year his Warriors are still dominating the league. I would talk more about the Warriors, but this is about Curry. Curry is leading the NBA in most points scored per game with 30 points. He also averages about 7 assists and 5 rebounds per game. Curry can shoot from anywhere on the court. He has hit multiple near half court shots to win games or to end a quarter. Steph Curry leads the NBA in total amount of three pointers made this season. He and Klay Thompson are one of the best dynamic duos in NBA history.
Stephen Curry was drafted in 2007. He went first round and pick 7. Stephen Curry wasn't really talked about before the 2012-2013 NBA season. He set an NBA record that season with the most three pointers made in a single season. He is also the first player to make 250 three pointers in back-to-back seasons. Steph Curry was a member of the 2010 USA men's basketball team. They had nine wins and no losses. Stephen Curry has his own shoe deal with Under Armour. Stephen Curry is now one of the most talked about NBA player in the league.

NBA: 2015-2016 All-Star Weekend
This year's All-Star weekend was an exciting one. It was at Toronto this year. The first event was the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday February 12. This was where all of the best rookies and second-year players play against each other, an All-Star game for the young people. The USA team beat the World team 157-154. Most people don't play defense in All-Star games because they just want to have fun. This year's MVP of this game was Zach LaVine. He scored 30 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins, last year's MVP, also contributed 29 points.
The next day on Saturday was the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest. This year's Skills Challenge was different. They had both big men and guards. On the big men side there was Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, and Draymond Green. On the guard side it included Isaiah Thomas, Jordan Clarkson, CJ McCollum, and Emanuel Mudiay. The winner of this contest was the big man,and Karl-Anthony Towns. Then there was the Three-Point Challenge. This contest included: Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, J.J. Reddick, James Harden, Kyle Lowry, Khris Middleton, Devin Booker, and CJ McCollum. The winner of this event was Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. The final event of this weekend was the Slam Dunk Contest. This was the most exciting event. Everyone knew Zach LaVine would win again, although. The contestants of this event was Zach LaVine, Aaron Gordon, Andre Drummond, and Will Barton. It was Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon in the finals, of course. Aaron Gordon had some unrealistic dunks. His dunks were crazy, but there was also Zach LaVine. Zach jumped from the free throw line in the finals to earn a 50, but Aaron jumped over his mascot earning a 50. They went to the second round of the finals. They both earned 50s and then they went to the third round of the finals. Then it finally ended when Zach scored another 50, but Aaron Gordon scored a 47. In my opinion, if the score limit was not 50, Aaron Gordon would have won this.

NBA: Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder on March 2
This is going to be a huge and close game, no doubt. With no Blake Griffin, Chris Paul (Clippers) will have to step up and have a monster game. He is averaging 19.8 points this season along with 9.5 assists. J.J. Reddick is a really good shooter when he's open. He won't miss if he gets a good pass off of a screen. The Thunder on the other hand, have Russel Westbrook (Thunder) who is averaging a double-double with 24.4 points per game and 10.2 assists per game. The Thunder also have one of the best players to every play the game of basketball, Kevin Durant. With an injury causing Kevin Durant to miss most of last season, he came back this season and is third in most points per game this season with 27.9 points per game. I think this will be a very close game like the last time they went up against each other.
The last time these teams went up against each other was on December 21 2015. This was a very close game. Russel Westbrook led the game in total points scored for one player with 33 points. Chris Paul had 32 points right behind him and Kevin Durant with 24 points. Blake Griffin didn't play his regular self with only 15 points. J.J. Reddick also had 15 points for the Clippers. Kevin Durant almost had a triple-double with 24 points, 7 assists, and 9 rebounds. Russel Westbrook also almost had a triple-double with 33 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. Chris Paul really stepped up this game with 32 points, 10 assists, and 5 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to stop the Thunder. In the final seconds of the game, the Clippers were up by 2, Kevin Durant walks up to the three points line, shoots and makes. The Clippers fans were devastated, including myself, with this unfortunate loss.

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City Thunder
The Warriors and Thunder game may have been the biggest game of this year so far. Two of the top teams in the NBA battling it out for an exciting game. Stephen Curry who leads the NBA in most points scored per game vs Kevin Durant who is third in most points scored per game. The Golden State Warriors had only 5 losses with 53 wins going into this game. The Thunder had 18 losses and 41 wins. This game was in Oklahoma City stadium (one of the loudest arenas in the NBA).
This game was neck and neck. The Thunder came out strong in the beginning of this game leading the Warriors 30-20 by the end of the first quarter. Then in the second quarter the Warriors scored 26 points and the Thunder scored 27. The score was now 57-46, the Thunder in the lead. After halftime, the Warriors closed up the point difference. They outscored the Thunder 32-26 making the score 83-78 at the end of the third quarter, the Thunder still winning. The Warriors weren't done yet, they scored 25 points in the fourth quarter with huge three pointers from Stephen Curry. The Thunder scored 20 points in the fourth quarter making the score tied at 103. They were going into overtime. With even more huge three pointers by Stephen Curry including one near half court to win the game, the Warriors came out on top beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-118.
This was a big scoring night from both Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. Stephen Curry led the game in points scored with 46. Kevin Durant behind him with 37 points. Stephen Curry also broke his "most three pointers scored in a single season" record. Stephen Curry had 12 three pointers in this game. Russel Westbrook also had a good game with 26 points, 13 assists, and 7 rebounds, but he and Kevin Durant had no one else on the Thunder to step up. There were only three people with 15 points or above on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now for the Warriors, they didn't need anyone else to play well because of Stephen Curry's monster performance with 46 points, 6 assists, and 14/24 shooting. To back him up, Curry had Klay Thompson, winner of the NBA Three Point Contest, with 32 points and 3 assists. Only one other player on the Warriors had over 10 points, Andre Iguodala. The Warriors are still chasing the dream of having a record like the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls.
