The Panthers had an amazing season this year. They only lost one game which made their record 15-1 (15 wins and 1 loss.). The Panthers lost and upsetting game to the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons beat the Panther 20-13. Most of the games the Panthers played, they won by a lot. They won 7 games in a row. This season was very suprising since last season the Panthers had a negative record 7 wins and 8 losses. They lost a predictable game in the second round of the playoffs to the Seattle Seahawks. Now this season they are facing the Denver Broncos in the NFL Superbowl.
This year the Panthers were led by super-star quarterback Cam Newton. He can do everything. He can run, throw accurate, throw far, and not fumble the ball. He threw 3,837 yards this season and ran for 636 yards with about a 60% of his passes hitting his target. The Panthers also had a good running back, Jonathan Stewart. He ran 989 yards and had 6 touchdowns this year. Kurt Coleman (Panthers safety) tied for 3rd place in total amount of interceptions in the NFL with 7 interceptions. Linebacker Luke Kuechly was also top 15 in interceptions.
